Dr. Emily Mitchell is originally from Kittanning, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Penn State in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in biology and from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020 prior to coming back home to work at VCA Valley Vet. While Emily loves every part of her job, surgery and mini pig medicine are her favorite! Emily's own furry family (horses, pigs, cats, and dogs) keeps her plenty busy, but in her free time Emily enjoys completing home projects or spending time in the woods or on a beach.
