Vanessa is a Las Vegas native whose family moved from Mexico to Colorado and then to Las Vegas to escape the cold weather. Her lifelong love for animals inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She started her career by taking classes at CSN and then got hired at a local veterinary clinic as her very first job. She joined us in October 2018 and loves being able to assist the doctors and technicians in caring for the patients and their owners, as well as learning more about medications and radiology.

Vanessa lives with her mother and grandfather and shares ownership of a 1yr old sweet, funny Pitbull and an 11yr old grumpy, but loving Chihuahua. Her interests and achievements outside of the animal world include competitive weight lifting and spending time with friends.
