Dr. Galvan is a native of Los Angeles, California. She graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a B.S. in Biology. She then got her DVM from Cornell University, where she graduated with distinction. She completed a one year internship at a specialty hospital in San Diego, California. Dr. Galvan joined VCA Alexandria Animal Hospital in 2007. She now lives in Del Ray with her orange tabby Bodhi and her chocolate lab Kelby. In her free time she enjoys traveling, hiking, mountain biking and spending time with friends.
