Dr. Bailey grew up in a small town in Southwest Georgia and earned her bachelor's degree in Biology from Georgia Southern University, where she graduated Cum Laude. She then went on to attend veterinary school at the Western University of Health Sciences, graduating in 2018. Following her graduation, she worked for two years in the field of emergency veterinary medicine.

When not busy at the hospital, Dr. Bailey enjoys spending her weekends exploring the great outdoors hiking and exploring local parks with her canine companion—a 9-year-old Labrador named Belle. "I adopted Belle from Alabama," says Dr. Bailey. "She loves going for hikes, although, in her more recent years she spends most of her time eating and napping." 

Fun Fact: Dr. Bailey enjoys recreational country dancing, and is enjoying learning more Latin dances such as Cumbia and Bachata.
