Dr. Alex Willis is a recent graduate of the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He is a North Carolina native and grew up in the small town of Troutman, North Carolina, in the Lake Norman area. Before attending veterinary school Alex completed his bachelor's degree in chemistry at Appalachian State University. Alex loves the mountains and hiking with his German shepherd, Otto. At home, Alex also has a three-legged cat named Nelly and a Russian tortoise named Edgar. In his free time, he enjoys going to the movies as well as trying new hiking trails. Alex is very passionate about veterinary medicine and has a particular interest in both oncology and behavior medicine.
