Dr. Catharine Hennessy completed her veterinary degree at North Carolina State University in 2001. After practicing in large animal medicine and as an industry consultant, she returned to small animal medicine and has been enjoying working with canine and feline patients for the last 10 years. Her clinical interests include dermatology, internal medicine and geriatric care.

Outside of practice, Dr. Hennessy enjoys spending time with her family, baking and cooking, volunteering at church, and playing the piano. She shares a home with her husband, 2 sons, 3 cats and 1 dog. She loves the team at VCA Broad Street and is excited about providing the best care to her patients.
