Dr. Christine Carswell received a Bachelor's in Science from the University of New Hampshire. She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in January 2010 from Ross University and completed her clinical year at Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests include: cardiology, critical care/emergency, internal medicine and anesthesiology/pain management. She is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
She is a native of the Boston area where she started her career as an emergency veterinarian. For the last two years she has practiced full time in Suwanee, Georgia. Veterinary medicine has been Dr. Carswell's passion since she was a little girl and to be able to practice high quality medicine makes her proud every day. She now resides with her husband and two cats Willow and Honey. Dr. Carswell joined the team at VCA Carriage Hills Animal Hospital in June 2013. In her spare time she enjoys traveling with her husband, taking on home and garden projects and spending time with family and friends. Her marriage is a perfect north meets south: although the south is where she's happy to call home, she will forever be a fan of Red Sox games and Maine lobstah!
