Cone Beam CT

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) provides high-resolution imaging in both two and three dimensions, enabling a more detailed assessment of bone structures, tooth positioning, and oral as well as maxillofacial conditions. These scans are extremely precise and comparable to traditional CT scans, but with a significantly lower radiation dose. One of the key advantages of CBCT over conventional CT is its superior spatial resolution and the ability to quickly acquire thin slices. This technology allows us to examine all skull skeletal structures, including teeth, maxillary and mandibular bones, nasal passages, and temporomandibular joints. Additionally, the precision of CBCT enables the evaluation of dental structures with significant improvement in sensitivity compared to dental radiographs.
