My name is Emmalee! I am originally from Sioux City, IA, but I moved to Cedar Rapids, IA, to be part of the Veterinary Technician program at Kirkwood Community College and plan on graduating in 2025. I have always had a passion for animals and would always pet sit, do grooming, and I worked at a dog day care facility. I do have quite an assortment of animals of my own: my cat, Mayberry; two bunnies, Ziggy and Zola; a crested gecko; two axolotls; and a tropical fish tank. In my free time I like to volunteer at the shelter, play with my animals and spend time with my family. In the future I would love to specialize in the care of exotic animals. I am excited to be part of the VCA team and pursue my passion in taking care of animals!
