Team Spotlight
I have practiced here at VCA Lakewood since May of 1986. I am married to a veterinarian and we have two sons and a daughter.
We have a Chihuahua, Silvie Belle and a standard poodle named Owen. We also share our home with three cool cats, Trigger, Truman and Tanzy.
I began my career in pet care as a professional groomer in 1982. In 1987, I took a receptionist position at a small animal hospital in Garland. For the next several years I worked various positions at that practice until taking the position of hospital manager in 1995. VCA bought the one-doctor practice in 2004 and in 2008, I transferred to a two-doctor VCA practice in Lake Highlands. In 2017, I found my "home" at VCA Lakewood Animal Hospital.
