Dr. Gowda grew up in Bengaluru, India. She graduated from Bangalore veterinary college and subsequently completed her Master's degree in animal Reproduction. Dr. Gowda has practiced as a companion animal veterinarian in Bengaluru, India, for five years before moving to Ohio in 2021. She moved to Ohio with her husband, who works at The Ohio State University. She passed the NAVLE board exam and received ECFVG certification in 2022 and started working in small animal medicine in Columbus. 

Dr. Gowda joined the VCA team in 2023. In addition to general practice, she has a special interest in ultrasonography and soft tissue surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with my family.
