Dr. Shauna Kessler is an Ohio native who graduated from Otterbein University with a Bachelor of Science in equine pre-veterinary sciences and a minor in equine assisted therapy in 2019. She then recently earned her DVM from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2023. While she loved her time exploring the southern state of Mississippi, she is very excited to be back in Ohio with her husband Morgan who is attending veterinary school at the Ohio State University.

Dr. Kessler first met the VCA team on a student externship during her clinical year and is excited to officially join the veterinary team as a DVM in 2023. She has a special interest in both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, as well as ultrasound. When not working, she enjoys cooking, riding with her horse Sunny, and spending time with her dog Merlin, and cats Pocket Mae and Ryder. She is looking forward to beginning her career at VCA Mill Run and serving both you and your pets!
