Dr. Jeanna LaBarbara grew up in Charleston, West Virginia, where her passion for veterinary medicine started with her love for her many childhood pets. She attended West Virginia University for her undergraduate degree and graduated from the Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. With experience in both general practice and emergency medicine, she realized early on that she loved the long-term client/patient relationships that are formed in general practice. 

She shares her life with her loving husband, two bottle-raised cats (Kit and Olive) and her geriatric Cocker Spaniel (Lucky). She has a soft spot for tabby cats and elderly dogs because of her furry children at home. In her free time, she loves reading, crocheting, board games, and hiking.
