Dr. Janine Wing has been an associate veterinarian with VCA Newark since summer 2020. Veterinary medicine sparked an interest in her at a young age and captivated her attention as she grew older. Dr. Wing received her Bachelor’s in Biology with a minor in Psychology from West Chester University, and then went on to receive her doctorate in veterinary medicine (Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris -VMD) from the University of Pennsylvania in 2019. After graduation, she elected to pursue a one year rotating internship in small animal medicine, surgery, and critical care at BluePearl Specialty Partners in Tampa, FL, where she cultivated her love of helping pets and their families in a variety of ways.

Dr. Wing now lives in southern Pennsylvania with her amazing husband and their fur baby Cricket, who is a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd rescue currently being trained in agility in an effort to expend her boundless energy and enthusiasm. In her spare time, Dr. Wing enjoys reading, running, and hiking with her family.
