Dr. Chris Gordon grew up in Endicott, NY.  She is a 2003 graduate of Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school, she completed a large animal medicine and surgery internship at Ontario Veterinary College. Before joining the VCA North Country Animal Hospital team, she worked at a mixed animal practice on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She returned to Upstate New York because she missed the snow. Her professional interests include emergency care, neonatology, and exotic animal medicine. 

Outside of work, Chris enjoys music, traveling, and taking long walks with her husband, son, and dog, Terra. In addition to her dog, her menagerie includes 2 cats named Huey and Matthew, a bird named Edward, and a guinea pig named Holly Jingle Bells.
