Dr. Lara McMahon received her undergraduate degree in biology from Siena College and then her DVM from Michigan State University in 1999. Shortly after graduation she began practicing veterinary medicine at VCA North Country Animal Hospital. She has a special interest in ultrasound as well as exotic animal medicine.

Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys playing soccer, camping, and hiking in the Adirondacks. She also enjoys boating on Lake Ontario during the warm weather  and skiing in the winter. She resides in Sackets Harbor with her husband, sons,  a dog, and a guinea pig.
