Dr. Elia graduated in Italy at the University of Bari in 1997. Her wish to obtain further training brought her to the USA where she had further training at Colorado State University where she also completed the ECVG program and became licensed in the United States. Her special interest in emergency and critical care brought her to Florida in 2003 to join PBVS and she has been proud to be part of a wonderful team since then. In her free time she enjoys sports, outdoor activities, riding her motorcycle. She also spends her time chasing squirrels in the park with Koda, a very smart German Shepard who is a little bit of a trouble child, but happy to be part of the family with the two cats, Luna and Squick, who are very happy to have her with them and to share their food!
