Dr. Cassandra Jauregui grew up in McAllen, TX, where she attended the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley for her Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology in 2018 with a minor in Psychology. She then moved to West Texas and lived in Lubbock for a little over a year while gaining hands-on experience as a veterinary technician. She was accepted into Midwestern University's College of Veterinary Medicine in Glendale, AZ, where she received her DVM degree. Dr. Jauregui has growing interests in preventative medicine, surgery and dentistry.

Dr. Jauregui and her husband, Dr. Marco Jauregui (OBGYN), have two dogs; their goofy, older pug named Tank and their spoiled miniature dachshund named Daisy. They hope to one day expand their little family.

In her free time, Dr. Jauregui's favorite thing to do is take trips with her husband so they can explore new places. She also loves to try new things, read fiction, take the pups to the dog park, fish, hike and hang out with her close friends.
