Staff Veterinarian
DVM
Dr. Chow came to Massachusetts from California. She went to the University of California, Irvine and received her degree in Biological Sciences in 1998. She studied sexual selection in California quail while an undergrad and developed a strong desire to continue working with animals. In 2003, she received her DVM from Michigan State University. She took 6 months off after veterinary school to travel to Italy and then started working at an emergency practice in California. In 2006, she joined VCA Boston Road Animal Hospital as an ER doctor. Although she now works as a wellness veterinarian, her interests still include emergency and urgent care. In her personal time, she loves spinning daily on her Peloton bike, hiking and just being with her husband and two boys. Dr. Chow loves small dogs and currently has 3 Chihuahuas.
