Dr. Wang attended Tufts University for her undergraduate study, studied abroad at Oxford University, and graduated summa cum laude. She then attended Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine where she was a coordinator for the Southside Community Center Healthy Pet Clinic, which provided fee-reduced veterinary care for people with financial need. After veterinary school, she completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at VCA Shore Animal Hospital, and joined VCA Abbott Animal Hospital in 2010. She has a strong interest in ophthalmology, researched at Schepens Eye Research Institute in Boston, and has published articles on artificial scaffolds for conjunctival cell expansion, melanocytic ophthalmic neoplasms, and orbital abscess. She is a member of a local flute choir, and enjoys spending time with her family and two rescue guinea pigs, Coconut and Hera. She speaks Mandarin.
