Dr. Tillman grew up in Minnesota, completed high school and college in the northeast, and has lived throughout the west thanks to school and various jobs. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from St. Lawrence University (New York) before pursuing a Master's Degree in Animal Sciences at Oregon State University. It was during graduate school that Dr. Tillman fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. After earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Tillman knew she wanted to end up in Washington. In June 2018, she completed a year-long intensive internship at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle, which included time in the ER room as well as the other specialty services, Dr. Tillman is excited to be a member of the VCA Alderwood Team!

Outside of being a veterinarian Dr. Tillman loves to spend time with her husband and their dog Zuke, a Doberman mix. When not caring for your furry family members you can probably find her out in the Cascade Mountains skiing, hiking, horseback riding or running.
