Staff Veterinarian
DVM, CVA
A native of the Chicago area (go Cubs go!), Dr. Kate Janczak attended Hope College in Holland, Michigan, where she earned her bachelors degrees in both Biology and Spanish before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in 2012. After vet school, she completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at a large referral and emergency hospital in Mesa, Arizona before settling in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Dr. Janczak is also a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, completing her training with the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society in 2016. Her clinical interests include dentistry, preventative medicine, and geriatric medicine. Dr. Janczak shares her home with a very lazy retired racing Greyhound, Wyatt Earp, who you can usually find snoozing in one of the treatment area kennels! In her free time, she enjoys doing yoga, baking, and traveling.
