Dr. Midtbo was born and reared in Texas. First attending the University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘em!) for a BS in biology with a concentration on ecology and conservation, she then attended Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine (Whoop!) graduating cum laude in 2003. Dr. Midtbo practiced exclusively small animal medicine in the suburbs north of the Dallas-Fort Worth area for five years before relocating to Colorado and practicing in the Highlands Ranch area. In late 2015, Dr. Midtbo, pleased with the high quality of medicine practiced, joined VCA Animal Clinic of Parker. Her area of interest lies in feline and canine geriatric medicine.

Dr. Midtbo shares her home with a senior feline overlord who graciously allows her husband and daughter to live there, too. When Dr. Midtbo finds herself with any semblance of free time, she enjoys creating art through painting/drawing, hiking, reading, napping, and cooking.
