Dr. Carr is one of the founders of California Veterinary Specialists (CVS). She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota in 1988 and has practiced emergency medicine exclusively since then. Dr. Carr became a Diplomate of the American College of Emergency and Critical Care in 1999. She has since served the College on the Residency Training Committee and is currently a regent. Prior to CVS, Dr. Carr was the director of the Emergency Pet Clinic in Temecula from 1992 to 2000. She is also a consultant in emergency and critical care for the Veterinary Information Network.
