Dr. Mike Newfield is originally from Minnetonka and currently resides in Mahtomedi with his wife, Nicole. Together they have 3 daughters and share their home with their Dobermann Pinscher, Maude.  Dr. Newfield graduated from the University of Minnesota Veterinary School in 2004. His areas of special interest in his field are internal medicine, dentistry, surgery and medical imaging. In his spare time, he enjoys, golf, walking, travelling and spending time with his family. Dr. Newfield joined the VCA Feist team in February of 2015.

I grew up, and after many years moving around, I am back and currently living in Oakdale with my husband and 4 furry children (cats), Brick, Tacocat, Funf and Jahre . I graduated from the University of Wisconsin River Falls with a BS in Animal Science, Equine emphasis. I worked with horses for many years and after moving to Milwaukee, I got a job in a small animal clinic and never looked back. After three years at the clinic in Milwaukee, I moved back to Minnesota and worked for Banfield for nine years. I worked as a Veterinary Assistant and became the Practice Manager.
