Dr. Danielle Adams grew up in Oklahoma City and ventured to Tennessee to attend college at Sewanee where she majored in biology. Upon graduation she moved back to my native state of Oklahoma and began working full time at a 24-hour vet hospital in OKC as a veterinary assistant. After some time in the field she decided to apply for veterinary school and attended Oklahoma State University – GO POKES! During her 3rd year of vet school she elected to pursue an additional certification in veterinary acupuncture at the Chi Institute. Many on-site sessions, exams, and one case-report later Dr. Adams became a certified veterinary acupuncturist. 

Following graduation from OSU in 2016 Dr. Adams moved to Denver and completed a one-year rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital. During her internship she found that her interest in multiple specialties, as well as her  love of client communication, made general practice the most fulfilling place for her! Her professional interests include preventative medicine, clinical pathology, integrative therapies, and the human-animal bond. 

In her free time Dr. Adams enjoys hiking, yoga, live music, and skiing with her husband! At home she enjoys relaxing with her sassy but sweet calico cat, Cricket.
