Dr. Lyndsey Larson now offers canine cardiac echo exams that are reviewed by board-certified veterinary cardiologist! She graduated in 2006 from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. Prior, she graduated from Colorado College with degrees in Biology and Spanish. She received a Fulbright scholarship for a year of study at the UNAM Veterinary School in Mexico City studying the effects of NAFTA on small scale bovine farmers. After veterinary school, she completed a rotating internship program at Wheat Ridge Animal Specialty Hospital, then went on to practice general and emergency medicine. Dr. Larson joined VCA Firehouse Animal Hospital in June of 2017. In October of 2019, she became boarded in canine/feline practice with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. Dr. Larson has volunteered annually in El Salvador with International Veterinary Consultants and the Humane Society. Dr. Larson especially enjoys geriatric feline medicine as well as cardiac and abdominal ultrasound.
