Dr. Kimberly Jacobs is originally from Upstate New York and has been working in general practice in Colorado since 2010. After graduating from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010, she moved out to Colorado to enjoy the sun and all the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer. She spends a lot of her free time running and biking, and has participated in events such as the Boston Marathon and the Leadville 100 Trail Run. She also spends a lot of time traveling the world. Having traveled with organizations such as World Vets, she has an interest in conservation and helping those animals in areas where veterinary care is not as readily available. Since 2003, she has been sharing her home with a Yellow-Naped Amazon Parrot named Elling.
