Dr. Mara Kraenzlin graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She completed a small animal rotating internship at BluePearl NYC, followed by a residency in emergency and critical care at the Oradell Animal Hospital in New Jersey. She stayed on as a staff criticalist the year following residency. Dr. Kraenzlin then moved to Colorado to enjoy the outdoors while working at Colorado Veterinary Specialty Group. Two years later she returned to the East Coast and joined VCA Shoreline in 2023.

Dr. Kraenzlin's professional interests include polytraumas, respiratory distress, and sepsis. 

In her free time Dr. Kraenzlin can be found enjoying the outdoors with her husband, son, and dog, Bodhi.
