Karissa was born and raised in downtown Indianapolis. She received her veterinary nursing degree from Purdue University in 2022. She started her technician career off in medical oncology and couldn't see herself anywhere else. She loves the relationships she is able to make with clients and patients throughout their time with the oncology service. She loves learning and has a goal of obtaining her specialty in oncology. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and trying new food.
