Laura graduated from tech school in 2015 and became registered in 2016. She worked in a general practice for about 2 years and realized she gravitated more to the ER cases her old practice would occasionally have come in. She decided to move on to emergency medicine to further her skill set.
She has worked in Emergency/Critical Care Nursing for about 3 years now and loves it. She enjoys always being on her toes and the constant learning. She especially enjoys the one on one time she gets with her hospitalized patients. She is working towards finishing RECOVER certification right now with a goal to become a RECOVER instructor certified in both BLS and ALS.
She lives with her 8 fur kids, 5 cats named Shadow Lynn, Jazzman Jane, Suri Ann, Boots MaGoots, and Cheese N'Crackers, and 3 ferrets named Spazz, Sophie, and Dixie.
