Olivia earned her Associate's of Applied Sciences in Veterinary Technology and passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam in 2013. When she completed her externship in tech school she discovered she really loved small animal surgery. She is thankful to be able to work with a team of such wonderful, bright, and intelligent individuals here at AVCC.
When Olivia is not at the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, three dogs, and extended family. She also likes anything creative and crafty, wine tasting, reading, and any opportunity to get dressed up!
Before pursuing veterinary medicine, Olivia considered a career in the field of psychology. In the future, she plans to find a way to combine both of her interests and develop a program that nurtures wellbeing and mental health within the veterinary industry.
