Dr. Ashley Allgood is a Southern California native and began her veterinary career as a veterinary assistant while working towards her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science at California Polytechnic State University, Pomona. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee. Following veterinary school, she completed a small animal rotating internship at VCA California Veterinary Specialists, Carlsbad.
Since the completion of her internship, Dr. Allgood has been working in the ER and Critical Care department at VCA California Veterinary Specialists, Ontario. Her professional interests include toxicology, antimicrobial stewardship, pain management, and emergency surgery.
In her free time, Dr. Allgood enjoys traveling with her husband, snowboarding, gardening, binge watching TV, being a "foodie," and spending time with friends and family, including their dogs, Jasper and Rennie, and cat, Nightfury.
