Dr. Yang received her BSc degree from the University of Toronto. She worked as a veterinary assistant for two years, and then went to the Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island (Canada) to obtain her doctorate of veterinary medicine degree.
Upon graduation, Dr. Yang completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatchewan, Canada. After her internship, Dr. Yang ditched the cold weather and moved to Southern California. She went through six months of residency training in emergency and critical care before joining the ECC team here at CVS Ontario.
Dr. Yang spends her days off being active (working out, hiking, sports) or travelling. She enjoys good food/coffee and is always on the hunt for new places to try. Dr. Yang also loves cuddling at home with her two cats, Zoey and Sophie.
