Carol graduated from the Consumnes River College in Northern California, obtaining her license as a registered veterinary technician in 2008. She then worked in general veterinary practice for 2 years, as a dedicated emergency room technician for 6 years, and as a technician supervisor at a general/emergency practice for 1 year prior to moving to San Diego. Carol joined the VCA Emergency Animal Hospital & Referral Center in 2018 becoming the Internal Medicine Coordinator. In 2021 she further expanded her position by becoming the joint Oncology/Internal Medicine Coordinator/Supervisor.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her adult children and grandchildren, hiking and exploring the beaches of San Diego, and riding her horse on the beautiful trails. Her four legged family consists of a 15 year old Husky mix, an 8 year old Siberian Husky, and a 27 year old Arabian, that are also very happy to be in San Diego.
