Dr. Forsman grew up on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula in Western Washington. Pursuing a lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian, she attended undergrad at the University of Washington in Seattle, and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University. Continuing her education, she spent a year as a small animal intern at Tufts University, outside of Boston. Dr. Forsman visited VCA PetCare as a vet student, and finding Boston to be way too cold, she has returned to the west coast to practice small animal general medicine at VCA PetCare.

Dr. Forsman, her husband, and their dog love Santa Rosa, especially the weather! They enjoy hiking in Sonoma county parks, kayaking the Russian River, visiting the Redwoods, and consuming all the amazing food and wine the area has to offer.
