Originally from here in Santa Rosa, Dr. Nicole Vinson started her career in veterinary medicine working as a veterinary assistant and emergency veterinary technician for eight years before and during veterinary school. She attended UC Davis, where she earned a BS in animal sciences in 2016. She continued on there to achieve her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). Upon graduation, Dr. Vinson completed a one-year internship in Small Animal Emergency, Internal Medicine, and Surgery. She found her professional interests to include emergency medicine and surgery. She believes she was born to be a veterinarian, and she is so grateful to work with an amazing team, saving lives daily, and helping patients and their families.
A fun fact about Dr. Vinson is that she loves to sing, including to her patients! Outside of work, she has many creative outlets: dance, piano, cross-stitching, and baking. She also enjoys traveling and exploring the great outdoors via horseback riding, scuba diving, and snowboarding. She has four perfect dogs: Akira (Siberian Husky), Delilah (Shepherd mix), Kuma (Miniature Pinscher), and Odie (Miniature Poodle).
