Dr. Goulart received her BS in Biology from Salem State University, where she graduated cum laude prior to attending vet school at Ross University in the Caribbean Islands. After graduating from vet school, she spent two years at a general practice in southern New Hampshire, where she saw cats, dogs, and small mammals. Dr. Goulart is a Certified Fear Free™ Professional.

Dr. Goulart has special interests in ophthalmology, infectious diseases, and emergency medicine.

Some people may remember Dr. Goulart as a valuable member of our staff from 2002 through 2007, when she left VCA Wakefield for vet school. Dr. Goulart lives north of Boston with her husband, two sons, a Doberman named Sasha, and a super sweet black cat named Petey.
