Dr. Grunkina attended the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, and she completed many externships while at school, including one here. Once we met her, we knew she was right for our team! Other externships included time at Tufts Veterinary Emergency Services and several rotations at Tufts Foster Hospital (outpatient treatment, animal behavior, and urgent care).  She also completed nutrition and animal care internships at the Staten Island Zoo, and she is Fear Free™ nd RECOVER CPR certified. 

Dr. Grunkina has special interests in dermatology, soft tissue surgery, preventive care, and behavior. She's currently seeing exclusively dogs and cats. 

When she's not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, and painting.  She lives north of Boston with her stubborn Russian tortoise, Glasha, and is hoping to expand with more furry friends soon!
