Dr. Couts and his family moved from Ohio to Massachusetts in 2017 so his wife could complete her residency in Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care at Tufts University. She has now completed the residency and we congratulate her. He is a 2006 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, and he is a Certified Fear Free™ Professional.
In addition to many years working full time at veterinary clinics in Ohio, Dr. Couts was the shelter veterinarian for the Toledo Animal Shelter for more than 10 years. He's also volunteered extensively with retired racing greyhounds. He has an interest in behavior...
Prior to joining VCA in 2001, Sarah spent 15 years in business-to-business and consumer marketing, with a focus on technology and media. She earned her MBA from Simmons School of Management, and in 2013 she earned the Certified Veterinary Practice Manager designation from the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association. She is also a Fear Free™ Certified Professional.
Sarah is President of The Greyhound Project, and she’s served on their board since 2000. She also served on the board of the Quincy Animal Shelter from 1999-2001.
